Suicidal Winds, one of the more underrated bands on the great Swedish black metal scene, they've done some good and intense albums, raw black metal mixed with just as raw thrashing madness, that haven't received the deserved attention, though I'm sure that'll change one day or another. This is the band's live album that was released last year. It consists of Suicidal Winds’ set at Festung Open Air in Germany last year, a track recorded in Rotterdam and an awesome and intense cover version of Kreator's 'Total Death', I think it's the best version I've heard besides the original, an insane intense and energetic recording.

The recording from Germany is great, the band is on fire and delivers a lot of energy and a powerful set, the set list is made up from some of good solid skull crushing tracks the band has made throughout the years. The live feeling is recorded very well, the sound is raw and in your face, a sincere live recording that shows the real deal and catches the listener and more or less puts one in front of the scene.

The track from Rotterdam is well performed as well, and quite intense as the previous songs from Germany, a handful songs or more from Rotterdam wouldn't have been bad. And then of course the last track, the already mentioned Kreator, what a way to finish of a powerful live album. A good live album from the Swedes, a great addition to anyone's black metal collection, Suicidal Winds collection and if you don't know the band, this is actually a good way to start then, some of their best tracks delivered very energetic and intense.
