Motörhead, Motörhead, just saying the name out loud makes me happy, and I can't help smile when I throw on an album with the legends, new or old, always merchants for hard fuelled rock n' roll, straight to the bone and straight in your face. Lemmy, Phil and Mikkey are now again ready with a new album, namely "Kiss Of Death", 12 tracks with what Motörhead does the best, heavy, dirty yet catchy rock n' roll.

If one puts on a Motörhead album and expects something they haven't heard from the band before, something's not right in their head! When the first tone leaves the speaker, the room changes color, the smell in the air changes and all becomes Motörhead, the band has a great mean of sucking all in and change the world for the duration of their music, nothing but what leaves the speakers, while Motörhead plays, matters, only the raw vocals from Lemmy, his heavy bass lines, the insane rocking with a punkish feel riffing from Phil and the hard hitting drumming from Mikkey matter. Not many bands have the ability to that, though there aren't many bands of Motörhead’s format if we have to get into details!

The 12 tracks presented on this album are all classic Motörhead, we have the tough rockers as 'Sucker', 'Living In The Past' and 'Sword Of Glory' to mention a few, harsh riffing, great solos, pounding bass lines, the raw and a young sounding Lemmy, with the rest of the band as back up on the choruses, straight out the highway, as we love it! We also have the nice and quiet ballad in 'God Was Never On Your Side', an example of how well the band writes music, a really stellar track. 'Christine' a catchy bluesy rocker, does, besides being a killer track, show Lemmy's way with words when they are best: "She moves like a rattlesnake made out of razorblades, That girl can't help it, just the way she's made, I would run all around the world, Just to see that girl, She sure loves playing with the Ace of Spades." And as a great surprise, we encounter Doctor Rock in the last track 'Going Down', always a pleasant reunion!

If you should have any doubt about how well- made and sounding "Kiss Of Death" is by now, you better take it from the top! This album shows the band from its best side, all killers and no fillers! This album will not disappoint a single soul into this band, if so I've missed something completely, as this is Motörhead as I love and like to hear it!
