With Norway being the country where most black metal hails from, there’s this one band, this one band who are on their way to set a new fucking revolution I tell you. A very thrashy one aswell! Susperia. That’s right, they’ve been around for about 6 years, but before I get to that, let me give you a little history lesson.

'Tjodalv, that name probably rings a bell to most black metal fanatics. He’s done the drum duties in Dimmu Borgir and Old Man’s Child for a few years. Tjodalv hooked up with session musician Cyrus (Satyricon, Old Man’s Child) back in 1998, and with Tjodalv having left Dimmu Borgir in 1999 he could fully concentrate on his new project: Susperia.'

As they started out as a very Black Metal influenced Norwegian band, they’ve envolved quite alot since every record they’ve put out. And now we are here : Unlimited.

God-damn. What a blast I had going through this record. Do they deliver? Simply put – oh yeah. It seems to me that with this album the band has been influenced by the thrashgods themselves, Testament just a tad too much. Hell – nothing wrong with that. Add Tjodalv’s technical fills and double bass works, with Cyrus and Elvorn’s shredful thrashsuckingmonsterfuckcrushin’ riffs, take Athera’s almost scary Chuck Billy alike vocal wars and Didriksen’s audible solid basslines, and you get PURE FUCKING NORWEGIAN INSANITY!!!!

This record will get a high well deserved spot in my Metal collection, hell i’d even frame it if I was that much of a nerd. The standout tracks for me are: Chemistry, Situation Awareness, Devil May Care, Home Sweet Hell (fucking catchy intro).

Do yourself a favour, and get off that smelly ass and buy this beauty, give that neck for what it’s worth for, followed by some crushful crushin’...something, heh!
