The coming masters of Greek war metal supremacy has returned with a new demo, namely "Krieg Über Alles", the follow up to last years "Antichrist War Machine", which you can find reviewed on these pages as well.

We are still getting offered a furious combination of black metal and death metal, whirl-winded into a hellish blazing form of war metal. The music has become more black metal sounding since the first demo, the riffing is more black metal influenced now, chainsaw riffs getting fired fast of, they have a cold and melodic tone, which goes fine with the overall cold and dark atmosphere on this demo. The band has become better at composing within the last year, the songs on "Krieg Über Alles" are more varied and it is not blazingly fast all the time, even though we get a well needed dose of speed most of the time. Though also new features, as the mid-paced track 'Tormentor Of Souls', which is quite okay, even though it reminds me a bit of the Swedish band Obitus. But the band is best when it goes fast I think, the outlet of energy and hate works best in those scenarios.

The 4 "real" songs on the album (we aren't spared the intro and outro of course) are all well done and showcases a band developing their style and themselves, there are no doubt about they have become better musicians since the first demo. They have also become better to control the drum machine, so it offers more varied patters and paces on this demo, which is positive. Though it still sounds quite artificial, but again it fits the overall atmosphere quite well. A video for the title track of the first demo "Antichrist War Machine" is also included on this demo, and that video is actually really well made and is perfect for the music. A good collage of Second World War film-clips, fitted extremely well to the music and the atmospheres the song offers, a well made video for a great track, nice to see a video complementing the song, as well as this one does.

Panzer Storm still seems like a serious force wanting to conquer unnamed territories and they are marching fast forward, ready to kill. Yet a highly enjoyable demo from their side. You can contact the band, using this email address to pick up the demo: panzerstorm_war@yahoo.gr, it should be available for free, if there are any copies left. It is very recommendable from this side!
