Death metal with a thrashy point of entry and lots of dark and cold industrial elements is what this Norwegian band offers.

The base of the music is heavy death metal with thundering bassdrums and sinister growls. The drums are programmed, but sound okay and deliver some sheer brutality. The guitar work is very impressive, heavy and intense riffing, which rips ones neck. Well spiced with shredded leads, thrashy moshing and great hooks. The vocal is mostly growled, though we are treated with a bit of clean singing, and it gives well earned breathing room. Though it is Cosmocrator (Source Of Tide) who delivers the vocals, and he can be tiring to listen to in the long run.

The band has made some good tracks, they are catchy while disturbing. Good basic death metal tracks, with out of the ordinary elements as screaming leads and cold industrial spheres, and it all fits like a hand in a glove and creates a superior great atmosphere.

It is a great debut album MindGrinder has created. Industrial death metal, which shows a band with a great future ahead. They have grabbed a lot of great elements and have made a listenable album, which I will enjoy in the future too. It will be exciting to follow this band in the future, especially now when the have recruited a “real” drummer.
