For everyone that is a fan of Guns N' Roses this album will rock. Until now the songs contained within this disc, could only be acquired through poor quality bootlegs. On this album the line-up is Axl Rose on vocals, Izzy Stradlin on guitar, Chris Weber on guitar and bass, and Johnny Kreis on drums. It was Chris Weber who put up the money to finance these demos that were recorded back in 1984, and who is responsible for making these tracks available to the fans. Although these are demos, they are very well recorded and are pleasing to listen to.

The album showcases five songs which you first hear in their demo form. All of the tracks are raw and powerful and give you a glimpse at where the music was headed during that time. The five tracks are then remixed by Guns N' Roses alumni Gilby Clark, on which Tracii Guns does some guitar overdubs on two tracks. Also included is the tracks remixed by Cinderella drummer Fred Coury. There are many things that can be recognized while listening, most notably 'Anything Goes' which was included on the great album "Appetite For Destruction" and 'Reckless Life' which is from the debut EP "Live Like A Suicide".

Even back then Stradlin was an amazing guitar player, and even though Slash is not on the disc, the guitar played by Chris Weber is really good as well. Axl's voice broadcasts the attitude and style that he is known for. At times he seems a little bit off key, but with this being a demo that is quite alright. Guns N' Roses are a band that lived a life full of excess and excitement, travel back to their beginning and witness a youthful band on the verge of something big, something that was destined to take over the world.
