This demo is killer. Mumakil has now released their first demo which contains 12 tracks of brutal and rage filled grindcore, and all of that under the mark of 15 minutes! All tracks are filled with much variety and the level of energy is simply huge. This demo is incredible as well as the line-up. Thomas vocalist in Stump Fucking. Seb on drums, who is playing with Deceit as well, Taverne on bass, also in Knut and last but not least Jérome of the now defunct Nostromo on guitar. The recording has been done by Jérome and truly kicks ass.

The whole fury opens with 'New 1', the growls are incredible, close to Brutal Truth, Napalm Death, the playing on this track is compact as hell. Grim riffs and tight drumming for a minute and fifteen seconds pure grind ferocity straight in your face.

A subtle groove appears on 'New 2', it's short but why should it be longer? Killer. 'Pâté' is impressive as well, the drumming is damn tight and the riffing as well, excellent track. 'Tavernik Gröwl' follows, this track borders to a more death metal feel and is very well executed. 'Blasting Fetus' and 'BreuBreu' are cool as well and 'Nailed Pig' thrashes severly.

Next track 'Lourd' is the longest track on the demo, it is over 2 minutes and it is heavy, it has a doomy atmosphere but is still very aggressive. 'Brebl', 'Viande' and 'T.P.D' are cool tracks, Thomas on vocals is very good. Last track on the demo is the catchy 'Running Pig'.

There are no weak tracks on this impressive first demo from Mumakil, all the tracks have a special groove, a high amount of furious moments and it's very well recorded as well, so jump over to their website and download it for free. I am really looking forward their next release.
