This Mexican band which has base in Boston, is quite new. I believe this is the first release by the duo. The 3 tracks on the demo offer thrashy heavy metal with some modern influences.

The song writing is the first thing the band should work on. The tracks on this demo are quite boring and offers nothing new and very few interesting moments. The basic composition is heavy and thrashy and consists of few and not very varied riffs. There are some good leads once in a while and a couple of great solos, which makes me, think of Iron Maiden, but none the less good solos. Though the momentum in the tracks are often being killed by clean guitar interludes or a bit too long solo or lead.

The rhythm section is okay, but not that interesting. The bass is present and keeps the rhythm. The drums shows a bit of skills once in a while, but the basic rhythm patterns aren't that surprising, but it has to fit the music. The vocals, half spoken half growled are quite a turn off. A more screamed thrashy-like voice or some pure heavy metal singing would have fitted much better, and would most likely have supplied some energy to the music. The music does at times lack energy, it seems like the band are about to falling asleep as well once in a while.

I have had quite a hard time to figure out what this band would like to deliver. There are the thrashy not too aggressive sounding parts. There are some heavy metal, some more technical parts, a lot of solos and the rather bad vocal, which doesn't fit the music in my ears. Maybe a better vocalist has to be found, so Gennaro Ammendola could concentrate fully on guitars and bass, that's his forces, and some more focused song writing aiming for one thing an not many, or some more song writing experience. The musical skills are present, so I guess the chances for some good and interesting music in the future is present as well.
