I thought it might be a good idea to post how things are going in the studio for everyone's information as well as for us. So here goes. Chris' drum tracks have been done since the first week of July. They came out really good.

7-26-06 : Today Richard was in the studio doing his bass tracks. He went through all the songs and got them do much faster than we thought it would take. His bass lines, as always, were fantastic. We also got to hear the mix down of the drums and they kicked ass for sure. Mark said he still had a bit of work to do on the drums, but if they're going to sound better than what we heard today....wow. So now we have bass lines and drums in the can and we'll go back in Monday night and start guitars. That's where we are now check back Monday for another update.

Hey Bill, don't forget. I need a signature from Mark too as he played drums with Iced Earth. Thanks for the update on the recordings.

7-31-06 : Dave and I went into the studio tonight. We'd got all the guitar tracks for one song done. Mark wanted to do one song at a time and get it completed before moving on to another one. This seems to be working well and we're looking forward to getting back in there Wednesday (tonihgt).

8-04-06 : Dave and I went in the studio tonight and got all the guitar tracks done for Imposition of Faith and No Tomorrow. All we have left on those 2 is leads and vocals. These tracks are coming out really heavy. Mark's doing a fantastic job. We're more excited than ever now for everyone to hear it. It won't be long now.

All things happen for a reason. There is no such thing as a coincidence. Our struggles to record our music have taken us on a "journey of the lost." Ultimetly right back to where we started and where we belong!! (MP and Red Room Recorders) And these are rough tracks???? Wait till they're finished...........

8-18-06 : First off let me say I'm sorry it's been so long since I updated this thread. Been really busy. Anyway Dave and I went into the studio today for a morning session with Mark. It was really productive, I think I like working in the morning more than late night sessions. We have all the guitar tarcks done and the next thing we'll be working on is the leads, and then vocals. Everything is sounding really strong and we're very happy with it. I would hope we should be done with all the tracking by the end of the month and then all there is to do is master it. We're going to be doing the mastering at Morrissound. So I think it's safe to say there's finally light at the end of the tunnel. Won't be long now....hang in there.

Stay Heavy....................UNEARTHED

We finnished up most of the lead work last night.
All we have left now is vocals, so the end is finally near.
