Lethal
Apr 14, 2005 by Anders
I actually heard about this band on the forums of this webzine, when one of the members joined and posted a link to Lethal’s website. I downloaded the material that were available there and found it good. I later got hold of the band’s first demo “Demolition” and was more or less blown away. The time went and I heard a track from the upcoming 7” vinyl EP “Deliverance” and that took me to another world. I figured out it was time to spread the message about this interesting and upcoming Swedish thrash attack. I got hold of the 4 stringed axe wielder Mike and here is what he had to say!

This Belgian band blew me away with their razorgrind when I heard their new and third album "The Process Of Elimination" earlier this year. Grindcore with a ton of different elements, not a boring moment or many repetitions, slaying all the way through the album. Before the recording of the new album, the band took on a more serious approach, getting away from their earlier "ninja" image and the replaced their old singer Isaac, with Boris known from Suppository. I got hold of drummer Sven and bassist Nicholas, those 2 answered the majority of the interview, while guitarist Jan delivered a single answer to a question.

Lord Belial

The Swedish black metallers are now ready with their new album "Nocturnal Beast", their 6th full length, and a pretty good slap of black metal. To hear what there had been going on in the band lately and to get behind the band and hear what was driving them, I hooked up with vocalist and guitarist Thomas Backelin, who I caught on a day where he was plauged by the flu, so he had all the time to answer thoroughly on my questions, and he sure did.

Legion Of The Damned

Legion Of The Damned is the band that ressurrected when legendary Occult was put in the grave. Legion Of The Damned is more thrash-oriented than Occult was, and kicks as much ass, that is for sure. They are right now ready with their first album "Malevolent Rapture" released by Massacre Records, a really solid album you should give a spin if you're into old school thrash, very recommendable from here! I had a little chat with guitarist Richard Ebisch, who didn't talk that much, short and to the point answers one could say.

L.O.S.T.
Mar 8, 2006 by Anders

This time around a Romanian band has been in the interrogation-room. L.O.S.T. delivers death/doom metal painted with great atmospheres, a travel trough emotions, up and downs, their debut mini CD "Last Breath" offers it all. I got in touch with bassist, vocalist and lyric-writer Vlad (V) and keyboarder Dragos (D) to get more info about the band, to talk about the music and what to expect of the band in the future...
